dog adoption mauritius A4924006 Blackie | Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever Mix

A4924006 Blackie is an exceptional 5-year-old black-and-white neutered male Pit Bull and Labrador Retriever mix who was found in West Covina and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on February 29th. Weighing 85 lbs, Blackie is an extra-special boy who quickly became a staff and volunteer favourite. He walks well on leash, but would benefit from some additional leash training given his size and strength. Blackie is super smart and already knows how to “sit” and “lie down” on command, so he should be a quick study with other skills. He has a medium energy level and a sweet and loving disposition. Cuddly and gentle, Blackie adores belly rubs! Blackie sailed through his shelter-administered temperament test, indicating he has good social skills with people and other dogs, which we also observed at our photo shoot. Blackie will be an outstanding companion to an active family eager to make a loving dog a central part of the household.
